The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) is a self-administered questionnaire to assess subjective sleep quality in adults, in the previous one month period. Nineteen individual items generate seven component scores: sleep quality, latency, duration, efficiency, disturbances, use of sleep medication, and daytime function.
Scores above 5 indicate clinically meaningfully disturbed or poor sleep. Lower is better.
